So, you find out you're pregnant - whether for the first time or for the 10th time. You're excited, you're nervous, and you have SO many questions. But who do you call to ask those questions?

Jayme is experienced in pregnancy, labor and birth. Both personally and professionally. She has seen all kinds of births and she was there to support the mamas in each decision they made. 

With hiring Sage and Sun you can rest easy knowing you will feel confident, educated, and supported each step of the way. Jayme has trusted back up doulas on call in the event that Jayme is unavailable. Life happens so we make sure we take the proper precautions to ensure that someone will be at your birth, no matter when baby decides to be born. 


During your two prenatal visits your doula will learn all about the birth you are envisioning. Whether you are wanting an unmedicated delivery, an epidural as soon as you step into the hospital, or you're wanting a repeat cesarean, Jayme will be there to support and cheer you own. You will also meet your back-up doula in one of these meetings. 

When the time comes for your baby to be born, Jayme will be available via phone or text support to answer any questions you may have or to talk you through a particular feeling you may be having. When you're ready for hands on, physical support, she will meet you at your home, birth center, or hospital and she will remain with you until your baby is here. Jayme will be there for your initial postpartum time to help you initiate breastfeeding and skin to skin.

Once you are home your doula will come for a postpartum visit to see how you're healing - physically, mentally, and emotionally.
