I'm Jayme!

I am a very passionate holistic doula, photographer, and breastfeeding educator. I could talk for hours to someone about all things birth and motherhood. It truly is what gets me excited.

I married my high school sweetheart in 2015 and we decided to start a family shortly after. I became a certified birth photographer in 2016 and then I had my first son in 2017! My postpartum time with him was a dream. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. However, a couple of years later, life threw us some curve balls. I became pregnant again but unfortunately we lost that baby shortly after we found out we were expecting. We then became pregnant again and our second son (our rainbow baby and surprise gender) was born in the fall of 2019. My postpartum time with him was TERRIBLE. In the end, I came out of it a brand new person and that is what led me to my doula work. I feel like the Lord allowed me to have a really great experience and a not so great experience so that I can better serve the mothers that hire me to be their doula. In 2022 we had a surprise baby, a little girl, and she is truly the princess of our household.

It is so amazing how each birth and postpartum time is so different with each pregnancy and baby.

Being a photographer led me to birth work, and my postpartum time led me to doula work. Making the decision to be a "doulatog" has been the best decision for my family and I. It has been such a blessing and I get to do what I LOVE day in and day out. I still can't believe this is my job.
